Level YL-7是后室YL层群的第8层。

描述

Level YL-7。

Level YL-7表现为一片广袤无垠的丛林地带，其地形极其复杂，主要由丘陵、山谷、鞍部等自然陡峭地形组成。该层级的树林地带极为的密集，且每10m²至少有4棵树，这些树木种类通常包含但不限于：桑树、槐树、松树，等其它一些长成后较为高峻的树木。该层级内的树木生长、发育速度极为快而明显，通常在一天之内就能从一棵幼苗长成粗拔挺壮的高树。在层级内的下雨时期，树木的生长速度会变得异常的快，以至于：若流浪者才在一颗正在雨水滋润下的幼苗，流浪者会被整颗突然长出的尖头树体刺穿全身。在绝大部分的情况下，树木的根枝与繁叶会形成一道道遮光棚，阻挡其层级内的“阳光”。再因层级内本身天气一直保持在阴雨天，因此，在该层级内，流浪者是极其容易在丛林内迷失的。

在Level YL-7内的一些山谷地域，其地面上普遍会布满大量的荆棘，虽然层级内的枯叶落叶将大部分的荆棘埋藏于此，但在仔细的观察后，仍能发现荆棘的存在，它们似乎拥有自我意识，其在流浪者靠近它们时，会迅速的将流浪者包裹起来，荆棘扎痛的钻心感贯彻全身，使得流浪者会开始出现自我意识的挣扎，而这会导致荆棘会刺入的越来越深，直到流浪者死亡，它们会缓慢离开，重新缩回土地里。流浪者的尸体会在此时迅速腐烂、发霉，随后陷入地里，仿佛一切都没发生一般。

Level YL-7的一些有毒菌菇会生长在其树的根茎部分，它们是绝对不能食用的，倘若流浪者将其食用并吞下，其菌菇中包含的各种有害物质会在体内扩散并恶化身体。使用层级内的有毒菌菇，轻则中毒，产生负面反应；重则因毒素在体内扩散而死亡。不过，当其被沸水煮开后，其毒素会因此减少。所以，除非在迫不得已的情况下，流浪者是绝对不能食用这种有毒菌菇的。此外，层级内同时存在着一些诸如金皮树的叶子以及其它的剧毒草类植物，在流浪者探索该层级时，注意脚下，避免剧毒植物划伤皮肤，是十分必要的。

Level YL-7拥有昼夜循环以及四季更替系统，其与之正常无异，但仍有细小的差别。尽管如此，这仍然不会阻止该层级内的植物自然生长，因为它们并不用吸收或排出有机物与无机物，这与生物的基本特征极为不符合。因此，我们推测，该层级内的植物均不为生物体。

据Level YL-7的部分相关实地考察报告显示，在该层级中的深土中发现了少量的打制石器残片与远古人类的头盖骨碎片，其绝大部分居多与丘陵地形。由此推测，该层级已经存在了几个世纪，“密林几世”这个名称也由此得来。
